Dannielle Gibbons
Chairman

Hi my name is Dannielle and I’m the new Chairperson for the PA! I have a daughter, Ava, in Year 2 at Norbury Hall and we’ve been living in Hazel Grove for around 15 years.

I currently work for a creative college in Manchester part time as their Data Protection Officer, dealing with all sorts of issues around personal data and the GDPR for our young people. I’m lucky enough to work from home most days, and have enough time in the afternoons for school pick up and all the after school clubs!

I’m really looking forward to taking the baton from the fabulous team who came before me, creating memories for our little ones, as well as raising lots of money for the school!

Eve Wright
​Vice Chairman

Hi, my name is Eve, I’m the new Vice Chair for the PA! 
I am a Solicitor working in the field of commercial law and also a local business owner, I’m very community minded and really looking forward to being involved in all of the fundraising and events the PA put on for the benefit of our children and Norbury Hall.
I have two children, my youngest daughter Charlotte is in year 1 at Norbury, my oldest is in year 8 at Hazel Grove High School.  I have always lived locally having grown up in Bramhall, moving to Hazel Grove in 2016.

Having attended PA meetings since my daughter Charlotte joined Norbury in September 2022, I have been very impressed with the commitment and generosity all of those involved give to the PA.  I am really looking forward to supporting our new Chair Dannielle and working alongside Alaine, Pauline, Karrie and the rest of the PA team. 

Pauline Kindness
Secretary 

Hi, I'm Pauline and have just taken on the role of Secretary for the PA at Norbury.

I work for the NHS helping to manage mental health contracts and have lived in Hazel Grove for the last 10 years.

I have 2 sons - James who is 3 and William who is in Year 1 at Norbury. I started helping out with the PA when William joined Reception and had great fun at the events organised last year. I am looking forward to getting more involved this year, working with the PA team and all of the lovely volunteers.

Karrie Sherwood-Brown
Graphic Designer

I am a Mum to my little boy Percy who is currently in Year 2 at Norbury Hall.

I’m a Freelance Graphic Designer and Artist. I’ll be working with the team to create our promotional graphics and come up with ideas to help us raise funds for this amazing school!

I’ve co written and illustrated a book called Gilbert the Brave. A tale of a courageous little giraffe and his battle with leukaemia. In honour of my Son’s epic journey fighting cancer and beating it in 2020.

Fun Fact
When I was 10 (a-hem…a long time ago) I was on Blue Peter! I played the accordion and clog danced… and yes! I’ve got a Blue Peter badge haha!

Alaine Greave
​Treasurer

I have 3 children - a son and a daughter who have recently joined Norbury towards the end of last year and my eldest son has just started in Year 7 at Hazel Grove High School.

We moved last year to Hazel Grove and we are loving it - we back onto the end of Happy Valley and regularly have all sorts of wildlife in our garden. I couldn’t believe seeing wild parakeets in our trees the day we moved in.

I am a full time working Mum and finance is my job, so taking the treasurer role seemed to make sense!

In my spare time I like to have fun with the family, have a glass of wine or 2 and laugh! So am hoping the PA activities we will arrange will have at least an element of each of those in them!
