What is the Norbury Hall Movie Afternoon?
Our Movie Afternoon is an after-school event where the children watch a movie together and have a light meal and a treat in the school hall. They are split into KS1 (Tuesday) and KS2 (Thursday). Nursery children will have their own event within school time. How much is a ticket? The cost per child is £5 and this covers their food and snacks. Where can I buy tickets? Tickets are only available online from the Norbury Hall Parents Association MatterPay event page - https://tickets.matterpay.com/s/norbury-hall-parents-association. Sales will end at 8pm the night before the event to allow for correct food amounts to be purchased. Late ticket requests will need to go to the school office for consideration. Children do not need to bring their ticket with them - the teachers will have a list of who is attending. How long is it on for? The event lasts from the end of the school day until 5:30pm. Children are to be collected from the school hall at this time. Who chooses the film? The children! School will advise us on the choices made as soon as possible, and we will share this with you ASAP! What if my child has a dietary requirement? We will be serving a choice of hot dog or pizza to the children, along with a small snack/treat. Any food allergies or dietary requirements can be highlighted on the MatterPay booking page. We will ensure any allergies, intolerances, vegan/vegetarian/halal requirements are catered for. If your child will not eat either the hot dog or pizza, you are free to give them a small packed lunch to bring with them instead - please make this clear on your booking form. What if my child is booked with Little Tinkers that day? If you wish for your child to attend the movie afternoon, you will need to cancel your booking with Little Tinkers. Please ensure you do this within the cancellation window that Little Tinkers require to receive a refund. If your child is not attending the movie afternoon, but is scheduled to be with Little Tinkers on that date, please note that all children will be cared for in alternative rooms during this time, but collection will still be from the main reception. Can parents attend the movie afternoon? No - this event is for the children only, with the teachers staying after school to look after them. However, this is an event run by the Parents Association, and we rely on volunteers to put on these events for the children. You can volunteer your time on the night and this will allow you to be present for the event. Let us know via [email protected] |
